Information
Two maintenance cards are included with each MiraQ. One can be found in a plastic folder inside the top cover storage compartment, and another on the right side of the EL-module inside the trolley.
With the system running in Clinical mode, the card must be inserted in the smartcard reader in the media panel. A message will appear on the screen, asking for confirmation to enter Maintenance mode. Pressing “OK” will cause the system to re-boot into the Windows shell.
If Medistim application fails to run after system startup, it won’t be possible to enter maintenance mode with a maintenance card. For this purpose, it is possible to enter maintenance mode by using the task manager:
Procedure
- Connect USB keyboard after the MiraQ has started.
- Press “Ctrl+Shift+Esc” to bring up the Windows task manager.
- Go to the “Applications” tab, and press the “New task” button.
- Enter “explorer” and press “OK”.
- Navigate to the folder: “D:\Medistim\Administration\” and run “entermaintenancemode.bat”
The system will then re-boot into Windows.
NOTE: Always exit maintenance mode after service is complete.
NOTE: The maintenance card is linked to the MiraQ hardware and software and cannot be used on a different system.
